We Believe...
The scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God (II Timothy 3:16)
We believe there is but one true and living God, who is everlasting infinite in power, wisdom and goodness, and that He is the Creator of all things, visible and invisible, and a preserver of all things (Romans 1:20, Colossians 1:16)
We believe the Son is the eternal begotten of the Father, and accepted earthly limitations for the purpose of incarnation, being true God and true man, conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary.
We believe He died upon the Cross, He arose from the dead, and is now at the right of the Majesty on High as our great High Priest, and He will return again to establish His kingdom of righteousness and justice.
We believe The Holy Spirit is the Comforter sent to us by the Lord to indwell, to guide, and to teach the believer.
We believe God has given each of us special gifts and talents to impact His kingdom. Most of us have one or two areas of giftedness we excel in.
We believe we are an interdenominational faith accepting all people who believe that Jesus Christ is the risen son of God and offers eternal life through Him. We have the Lord's Supper monthly and believe in full-emersion baptism. Once you are born-again into the kingdom of God, your talents and gifts that you had through your natural life are used to glorify God.
We believe operating in these distinct gifts, for the Lord, is where peace, joy and lasting fulfillment are found.
Here at Prayer of Faith we are committed to helping you find that special place in God's kingdom. Come join a family that cares.
